North Goa (उत्तर गोवा) is a district in the northern part of Goa, India, bordering Maharashtra and the Arabian Sea. Its headquarters is Panaji, Goa’s capital. The district is known for its beaches, estuaries, historic neighbourhoods and lively tourism centres, including Calangute, Baga and Anjuna.
